Maya, a fragile young woman lets her curiosity get the best of her when she comes across stories of demonic creatures known as ‘inters’, souls trapped between hell and earth. Soon she is plagued by nightmares of these creatures killing people and she’s even more horrified when she finds these nightmares to be reality. Maya can do nothing as she witnesses these things kill people, but her distorted dreams seem odd and Maya can’t figure out why. Together, she works with her estranged father to try to figure out what’s happening to her as she loses control of herself. The body count rises and no one but Maya can see these creatures. Her world just falls apart as the inters destroy her from the inside and she realises that she isn’t dreaming, that she’s wide awake and the figures she sees aren’t there, they are in her head, taking over every essence that was once Maya.
